What is collected
We (the centre, using Recess) collect contact details for parents/guardians, child identity and care details, emergency contacts, health and immunisation information where relevant to safe care, media consent choices, and related enrolment notes.
Purpose
Information is collected to assess and manage enrolment, provide education and care, communicate with families, meet regulatory obligations (including National Law/Regulations and CCS-related records where applicable), and operate centre systems including Recess.
Who may access it
Authorised centre staff and, where configured, linked family accounts. Service providers that host or process the platform (for example Australian cloud hosting and email delivery) may process data under contract. Information is not sold.
Consequences of not providing information
If required information is not provided, the centre may be unable to complete enrolment or provide certain services safely.
Access, correction & complaints
You may request access to or correction of your personal information via the centre. Privacy complaints can be raised with the centre first; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
